Spencer Krug is my favorite musician of the moment because he is a genius. His other band is Wolf Parade, and his other other band is Swan Lake. But this side project trumps them all. And I can’t believe I missed them when they came to Boston a couple weeks ago!

New stuff from Northampton, Massachusetts’ finest.
Phoenix – Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
Decent, upbeat, poppy Boston Band.
Fever Ray – Fever Ray
I LOVE this album. The chick from The Knife (dark electronic music by a Swedish brother/sister duo). It’s almost as good as a new Knife album would be.
